Copier Systems Limited (CSL) were appointed to place a uniform solution of multifunctional devices into the business’ various locations throughout South Yorkshire in order to provide a reliable and cost-effective managed print solution.
Foy’s wanted to implement a current managed print solution offering increased functionality and improved service levels from a local service provider.
The Challenge/Objectives
- Ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while installing and implementing new solutions during the COVID pandemic to meet the current contract end date.
- Implementing a GDPR compliant solution for data security in a very highly sensitive environment
- Integration and compatibility with a range of third-party software solutions and applications
The Solution and Key Achievements
- Future ability to remove the current Macro’s the client had run by implementing the device’s embedded software features. This saved on cost for the Macro’s and downtime for configuring and implementing.
- Eliminated the need for sites to purchase individual letterhead by storing templates in the device. Such as the colour quality. This has saved time, money, and space with no requirement to order minimum quantities of the letterhead.
- Ensuring a COVID safe implementation was vital. Remote configuration of devices crucially reduced time on site. Devices were then quickly and safely put into place, and training conducted accordingly.
- The secure print plan implemented to ensure document security and assist home working. Users print to the devices, and the user then releases documents at a convenient time.
- Offered a managed solution with the improved service, reducing the total cost of ownership.
